KAIST International Summer School(KISS)
  • Since its establishment in 2007, KAIST International Summer School(KISS) has worked faithfully to serve as a hub for cultural and academic exchange between students from all over the world. Throughout the past years, KISS has evolved to become an integral part of the summer experience at KAIST and unique opportunity for students, from Korea and abroad, to interlace a tapestry of academic exchange through creative teaching and learning. KISS will provide a wonderful environments and program that will serve as a catalyst in formulating new friendships and pleasant memories that can be shared around the world. Students are able to receive up to 6 credits during their 4 week time at KAIST.
  • Programs:
    • - Track 1: Course Oriented Program
      Undergraduate and Graduate students may select up to two courses of the program. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 3 credits and maximum of 6 credits.
    • - Track 2: Research Oriented Program
      Program for students who wish to conduct individual research in a KAIST lab of their choice. 1 credit is given in this program.

Visiting Student Researcher Program(VSR)
  • The Visiting Student Researcher(VSR) Program is for students who are currently enrolled in or taking a leave of absence from universities outside of South Korea and who wish to conduct research in one of KAIST’s laboratories for less than a year.
  • This program does not provide any credit during the research period. Programs offering credits are the Exchange Program and International Summer School.
    • - Note: Students from partner universities will be exempted from the registration fee (USD 350).
